Johnny Clarke started his career in the 70s when Robbie Shakespeare, then musical director and bass players for the Aggrovators discovered his talent and convinced producer Bunny Lee to record Johnny, who quickly became Jamaica's number 1 artist, with hits like "Every Knee", "Love Up" and many other memorable reggae anthems

Born in 1955, Reggae legend Johnny Clarke skyrocketed to prominence during the 1970s. Decades later, reunited with Sly & Robbie, he demonstrates that time has not eroded his talent and his unique voice. He recorded the vocals at Bravo's Small World studio in downtown Kingston over riddims specially crafted for him by the Riddim Twins between 2011 and 2017. The songs were then mixed by Steven Stanley, Jamaica's foremost sound engineer. Dub wizard Dartanyan Winston then produced mind bending dub versions.
